Moxie Films, founded in 1999, is a New York City based production company, which includes the brands Moxie Films Documentaries (aka MoxieDocs) a (501(c) 3) company and New Century Writer Awards. Launched in January 2001, Founder/Director Drew R. Figueroa has raised support for the Moxie Films Program via partnerships established with leading Film, Media, and Industry companies.

The Moxie Films Program was established for the sole purpose of facilitating under-served artists. Presently, assisting narrative and documentary filmmakers and screenwriters.

Our mission is to form partnerships with individual artists, nurture their creative growth and bring their artistic voices to the forefront.
